Day 1 in the books!

Yesterday Notre Dame finished its first day of practice

And a couple things popped out. Tuitt and Lynch are monsters! Dayne Crist is taking 1st team snaps. I was surprised when Sean Cwynar taking 1st team reps at NG with Louis “Irish Chocolate” Nix taking 2nd team reps.  I still believe Louis Nix will be the opening day starter. The second surprise came after practice when Coach Kelly stated that Everett Golson is being considered to be returning kicks. I like the fact they want the most athletic guys on the field , but I don’t want him to burn a redshirt on returning kicks, or God Forbid he gets hurt on special teams!
