It has been announced that Gunner Kiel is now transferring. This is now Everett Golson team. God Bless Him. Rees would have to become superman to beat out Everett. Andrew Hendrix might get beat out by Malik Zaire, and never see the field. For the first time in a long time I’m confident in our play caller. Hopefully Gunner transfer to Indiana and beats the shit out of Ohio St and Michigan

Today we got word that the father of Santana Slaughter was denied a sixth year. This come as no surprise because the NCAA are dicks like that. What got me thinking have we seen the last of Rees? We have a cemented starter in Everett Golson. We have a boy wonder back up in Gunner Kiel.( Who if you believe the message boards will pass Golson this fall. )We have the young buck in Malik Zaire, and Dr. Hendrix. The only thing Tommy has going for him is the mastery of the offense. But with Golson learning everyday and Kiel moving up it looks like Rees is the odd man out. The only way I see Rees coming in is if a disaster happens as in Golson goes down, then Kiel gets injured. This may be the end for Tommy Rees. I think he never plays another snap again his legacy will be of the “CLOSER”

The day is finally here, the day we finally play for that Crystal ball. here is our preview!!

First thing first. Alabama is going to try to intimidate Notre Dame. Look for late hits, and a lot of smack talk. If Notre Dame can give as much as they get they we will have a one hell of a ball game.

The Irish D-line has been great, but what is important is how Kona Schwenke, and Sheldon Day are gonna match up when they see the playing field. and while the secondary is young, they have helda great majority of their opponents to below 200 yards passing this season. But if the Safetys start to creep up because of a good Bama run game ND can get burned deep.

On offense Golson will need to play the game of his life. What is keeping me up at night is if we turn the ball over and Alabama just runs it down our throats. We need to hold on to the ball. Cierre Wood needs to play like a man on fire and George Atkinson has to put that whole SEC speed myth to the test. When it comes down to it when ND gets a chance ND needs to take advantage of every little thing.

On special teams need to be special Ben Turk cannot have a mulligans tonight and Kyle Brindza needs to be perfect. With that GO IRISH !!!!

I’m assumung Alabama will beat Georgia setting up the epic showcase between ND and Bama. Bama is trolling hard well here is a cold hard fact for you. Alabama greatest coach Bear Bryant could not beat ND’s Number 3 coach Ara Parshegian. Ara made a living hunting the bear and you can bet we can beat the great satan opps I mean Saban.

We are finally back to be number 1 and now that we are here Notre Dame has a great chance to bring down the vengence to all of those who have spited us. First up is USC. They will be without there glroyboy QB,and I have feeling it will be Oklahoma redux!!! This will be an epic clash with the Irish Kings being the Victors!!!

Ok so ND is number three in the polls and we need help. I’m not sweating it becuase we still have two games left. Wake Forest will get stomped, and we finally have a calm home game. The usc game scares the hell out of me becuase they have nothing to lose and broken watch is still right twice a dayOregon still has three games to play and K State is a one Klein injury to back irrelevence. Also do you really think the powers that be will ND with an huge international following that will gurantee the highest tv rating in at least 15 years or a two regional powers that can just be a flash of the pan. Hmm I wonder what the suits are thinking:No way in hell do they leave ND out!!!
